Consider this your warning! 👀

After years of photographing elopements, I’ve seen just how many incredible places couples can choose from. From mountain peaks and coastlines to forests, deserts, and quiet hidden gems, there are so many beautiful ways to make your wedding day feel like an experience instead of just an event.

And if you’re wondering where to start, I just happen to know a few locations… okay, a lot. 😉 But at the end of the day…it’s about working with you to find the one that feels perfect to YOU!!!

The twirls. The wind. The running, laughing, dancing, and all the little moments that never really stand still.

There’s so much movement woven into a wedding day, and honestly, those are some of my favorite moments to photograph. The ones that feel less like posing and more like being right there inside of it.

Wedding days and elopements, in motion. 🤍

I know I shouldn’t brag, but I’m proud of my camera roll. It’s a reflection of the life I get to live ❤️

A mix of pretty locations, behind-the-scenes clips, random moments, and a LOT of photos from the day. This is the side of being an elopement photographer you don’t always see. The driving, scouting, setting up, chasing the light, and taking in all the little moments in between.

One of the best parts of an elopement is how much space it gives you to actually be present.

You can slow down, choose a place that means something to you, skip the traditions that don’t, and build a day around the two of you instead of a timeline full of expectations.

That’s the beauty of an elopement. It can be simple, intentional, adventurous, quiet, emotional, or all of the above. It just gets to feel like yours. 🤍

A little peek at what “being the photographer” actually looks like 😂

Elopement photography isn’t just showing up and pressing a button. It’s scouting, giving space for couples to live in the moment, creating memories, chasing the light, finding the right angle, and being ready for whatever happens.

The final photos are only part of the story!

Eloping soon? Let’s chat. 🤍

Planning a Yosemite elopement comes with a little more than just choosing a beautiful spot and showing up.

Permits, weather, crowds, seasonal road access, and location rules can all shape the day. A little planning ahead makes a big difference.

Start your permit early, have a few ceremony locations in mind, check conditions before your trip, and pack the practical stuff too: layers, water, sunscreen, bug spray, and shoes you can actually walk in.

Then give yourself time to explore and actually enjoy where you are. 🤍

Save this one if Yosemite is on your elopement list.
